Clinical reports on lingzhi for viral hepatitis
Lingzhi preparations have been used in China to treat viral hepatitis since the 1970s; across the various reports, the overall response rate ranged from 73.1% to 97.0%. Clinical reports also indicate that combining lingzhi with antiviral drugs such as lamivudine, entecavir and interferon can enhance their effect; lingzhi has also been used for liver damage caused by alcohol or drugs.
