Health Canada: natural health product monograph for reishi
Health Canada has issued a natural health product monograph for lingzhi (reishi) for companies to use when applying for product licences. The uses listed in the monograph include: in traditional Chinese medicine, to relieve cough, nourish the heart and tonify qi; in herbal medicine, to support the immune system; and as a liver tonic and adaptogen, among others.

In Canada, lingzhi products that meet the monograph requirements can apply for a natural health product licence and use the claims the monograph permits on their labels.
