Popular question
Can lingzhi be taken with medicines?
A trial in Hong Kong found that healthy people who took 1.5 g of lingzhi a day for 4 weeks showed no change in blood clotting. However, none of the participants were taking anticoagulants. If you take anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs such as warfarin or aspirin, or are preparing for surgery or a tooth extraction, tell your doctor that you take lingzhi. Case reports also suggest extra care is needed when drinking alcohol or taking several medicines while taking lingzhi.
