Nephrotic syndrome: Bozhi injection added to steroid treatment
Li Youyun et al. (2003) randomly divided 82 patients with nephrotic syndrome into two groups: the control group received steroids alone, and the observation group received steroids plus Bozhi injection, for an 84-day course. The overall response rate was 95.2% in the observation group and 53.2% in the control group; in the observation group, urine protein mostly turned negative within 4 to 6 weeks, with no relapses seen.
